Then you can start the journey from Augsburg in the middle of the Thai world… and be amazed!

Eat quietly:

Meals are very happy and stimulating events for Thai people. But as gourmets of seasonal and wonderfully sensual cuisine, they observe the following rule: talk a lot, eat quietly:
Accordingly, Thais talk a lot while eating and tell each other all sorts of things, but they never speak with their mouths full. When it comes to the noise level when eating, there is a basic rule: chew as inconspicuously and quietly as possible. It is not common in Thailand to make loud noises like smacking or slurping. The soup is also eaten as quietly as possible. With food that is very crunchy, try to avoid cracking noises and chew very carefully.
